TEDCF Publishing Press Release

TEDCF Launches New Inventor 9 Multimedia Course

Porterville, CA, December 14, 2004 - TEDCF Publishing, a leading Authorized Autodesk Publisher of interactive courses for Autodesk Inventor, today announced the availability of Autodesk Inventor 9 Accelerated Productivity: 2D Drafting and Customization, the third in a series of courses for Autodesk Inventor 9.

Unlock the Mystery of Using Styles

2D Drafting and Customization provides over3 1/2 hours of interactive instruction that shows how to unlock the mystery of using styles in Autodesk Inventor Release 9. Step-by-Step instruction demonstrates how to customize styles and templates, tailor Inventor's user interface to meet user's needs, and shows how to create custom 2D Drawings. Users learn how to create Administration Projects that are used to customize styles, and the structure of the Style Library is covered in detail while all the style settings including layers are clearly described. Users also learn how to use all the commands associated with creating and customizing 2D Drawings.

Increase Productivity

"The positive response from our customers is overwhelming," said David Melvin, Professional Engineer and author of 12 courses for Autodesk Inventor. "We even had a customer ask if he could buy stock in our company. I can't tell you how pleased I am when I get feedback like that." In an e-mail to TEDCF Publishing, Harry Tutundzich, Mechanical Engineer from Hartek Design wrote, "The training is structured very well and for the first time I see the light. Although I considered myself to be fairly good with Inventor, your course has shown me the easier and correct way to do it. I have increased my productivity at least 30%, ... [and] would like to buy shares in your company if you're listed on the exchange."

Comprehensive Training

2D Drafting and Customization completes a set of courses that starts from the basics and quickly moves to advanced concepts. The first course, Single Part Solid Modeling, shows detailed descriptions and examples of how to use all the commands associated with creating single part solid models. Assemblies and Advanced Concepts takes the training to a new level by showing how to work with all the commands associated with the assembly environment. Users learn how to create advanced parts like iParts, Derived Parts, Adaptive Parts and Adaptive Assemblies, and iFeatures. The course also includes detailed descriptions of how to animate assemblies and create presentations. 2D Drafting and Customization finishes the set by providing detailed instruction on how to customize styles and all the components in the 2D Drafting environment, and how to create 2D Drawings.
Sheet Metal Design, expected to be released during the first week of January 2004, is an advanced course on using all the commands associated with creating sheet metal parts. This course will complete a second set of courses including Single Part Solid Modeling, Assemblies and Advanced Concepts, and 2D Drafting and Customization.
