Inventor Presentations with JT Files Embedded in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Page 2

Set the settings in the dialog box. For assemblies, use the Monolithic structure. Click OK when you’re finished.

Click the Save button.

Now open Windows Explorer, and then browse to the folder where you saved the JT file.

Open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, and then drag the JT file from Windows Explorer to the document.

To edit the view, right click on the image, and then select JT2GoFV Object – Edit.

Now you can use the commands at the top of the image to rotate, pan, and zoom to change the view. Click outside the image to close the edit window.

Why is this Important?
Communication is very important. After all, the true purpose of Inventor is to communicate ideas and designs to others. By extending this ability to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents you can enhance your message to your readers.
