Finding Parts in Autodesk Inventor Assemblies

As your assemblies get larger, you’ll find that it can get difficult to find parts in the graphics area and in the browser. This tip will show you how to quickly find parts and subassemblies in both places.

Finding Parts in the Browser
Let’s say you need to find the E-Clip highlighted in red in the image above.

Select the clip and it’s highlighted in the browser. If you select a component in a subassembly, the subassembly is highlighted in the browser.
