So anything that would normally get in the way of making the fillet is absorbed by the fillet, but what are the limits of this capability?
The feature will not be absorbed if any full surface of the feature does not touch the fillet. In the image above the radius is set to .299 and the top surface of the cylinder does not contact the fillet. In the image below the radius is set to .300, which causes the top surface to contact the fillet.
Since all the surfaces on the cylinder contact the fillet, it is absorbed.
