Finding Parts in Assemblies in SolidWorks - Page 2
This is called Dynamic Highlight. If this doesn’t work on your computer, open the System Options and select Feature Manager.
Now make sure that Dynamic Highlight is checked.
Now let’s say you have a part in the Feature Manager, but you can’t find it in the assembly. Right click on the part and select the Zoom to Selection command.
SolidWorks then zooms in on the part and highlights it.
As assemblies grow, it can become hard to locate parts. These two tips can make that much easier.
