Updating Drawing Dimensions in SolidWorks - Page 2
Next, rebuild and Save the part and then open the drawing.
As you can see, the dimension has been updated and highlighted in the specified color.
If you put the mouse over the dimension, SolidWorks will show you information about the change that was made.
The dimension will stay highlighted until the drawing has been saved and closed.
This tip only works if the drawing file is closed. If the drawing file is open when the dimension is changed, the drawing will update, but the dimension will not be highlighted.
