Quickly Add Notes to Files in SolidWorks - Page 2

Once you have clicked in the graphics area, you can type your note and edit the text using the quick access toolbar.

You can also change the format of the Note box in the feature manager. You can add a leader, edit the border and much more.

Another fast way to add a note is to type it out in a Word document and then simply copy and paste it into the SolidWorks file. When you do a text box appears containing your notes and you can drag it to anywhere in the graphics area.

To edit a Note pasted into a file you can double click it and the Word toolbar will open up where you can make your changes.
